A strong Pricing Analyst is required to join a large financial services firm in New York City. 

This is an exciting opportunity to further your financial services career with a well-known successful online brokerage platform.  

About the role:

The successful pricing analyst will work as part of a global real-time data analytics team and help to monitor and maintain pricing over a large cross-section of asset classes.
Upon joining, you will initially focus on Interest Rate Swaps and Foreign Exchange Options, moving on to other asset classes such as Bonds, FX, IRO, Equities, Commodities and Precious Metals. There is a great opportunity for professional growth and exposure to other asset classes here.

The multidisciplinary team is responsible for the development and production of data for the business.  This data is widely used both internally and externally and therefore they aim for the highest possible standards. 
Each project is typically developed with a cross-section of team members from the different disciplines.  This multi-discipline collaboration enables individuals to gain exposure and contribute to what other parts of the team and organisation are doing.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor, maintain and calibrate pricing models
  • Investigate and resolve deviations model variations from market observations
  • Assist with the valuation of esoteric / illiquid assets
  • Prepare documentation to support the pricing evaluation process and enable hand-over between regions

 

Required Experience

To make you the successful candidate for the role, we need someone to meet the below criteria:

  • Strong pricing background with at least one asset class
  • Experience and knowledge of how market and asset data will affect valuations
  • Experience of working within a real-time event driven environment
  • Technical experience of working with data and building data comparisons
  • Proven experience of understanding, responding to and creating solutions to complex problems using best practise tools and techniques
  • Ability to work as part of a global team
